Kicked it w this girl sunday & had such a genuine good time. & as a result I’ve been obsessing over her in my head ever since lol/smh..

I rolled up & we just laid there talking for hours. In between puffs and random anecdotes I would check her out from head to toe. Not really sexually, more outta admiration. I laid there admiring the purple you could see in her hair only when she sat a certain way, the perfection of her eyebrows, her outfit, her shape, etc.. all while thoroughly enjoying every word that left her mouth. Silently hoping the ash tray would somehow remove itself from in between us & the distance would lessen. It never did, but I was enjoying myself so much it really didn’t matter. At one point in time she stood up to look out the window then turned around and was directly in front of me. After all the.. admiring, the object of my admiration stood right there in front of me as I sat on the edge of the bed. At that moment it seemed like my body had a mind of it’s own or like she was magnetic and my arms were some type of metal. My body said embrace her but my mind said you don’t know her that well so don’t ruin this moment w getting curved or better yet don’t ruin this moment bc it’s magical. This feeling is one I haven’t felt in a while. Honestly I probably wouldn’t have gotten curved but that feeling was so awesome I didn’t even wanna rush things or perhaps ruin them. I’d rather chill in this limbo of ” do we like each other”. There’s magic in not knowing sometimes. That hesitation, unaware of where the next action may lead. Unaware of what’s going through the other person’s mind at that very moment.

The night concluded w her walking me to the door. I made sure she knew I wanted to do this again, often, & soon. We hugged & the embrace was magical. Like her body was speaking to my body.They conversed for a while then I finally let go and as we separated it felt like my lips also had something to say. It kinda seemed like hers did also. They didn’t converse but that whole time chillin felt so comfortable, like we did it a million times. So comfortable that it felt like a night like that had to end in a kiss, at least. There was no kiss. Just a reminder to text her later. That might not seem like the opportune ending but I’m still filled w bliss & it’s Wednesday. I think that speaks more than some fairytale ending. I’m not saying I’m in love or anything near that but I guess what I described was a “crush”. Haven’t had one of those in a while.. feels good.
